Update 28.07.2016: fixed, now everything is working again.

Due to unknown reasons the server can not be reached via network. Someone needs to physically check what's going on which will take some time.

There was an exchange of the core switch at the lab facility taking place today around 4 pm. As a result, the network was down for about an hour. It should now be up again - I successfully tested it on all machines (but the RNA World server).

Unfortunately, I just checked and saw that, although on the same network switch, the RNA World server indeed is not reachable as the only device affected by this. Even machines in the same room are reachable.

I will have to drive back to the RNA World lab to manually restart the server (in about 1 hour). Hope that will help...

How good that we separated the RNA World forum from the RNA World server, otherwise nobody would ever get to know what's happening...

OK, so the switch which was built in as a replacement for the "old" one is faulty. I spent about an hour with Christian doing trouble shooting. The guy who caused the issue was informed to revert all changes by tomorrow morning 11 am. After that, I will be out of for camping with my daughter until Sunday evening. That means, whatever is not fixed by 11 am, possibly won't be fixed until upcoming Monday.

For your WUs that should not be a problem. Those that are completed will upload as soon as the server becomes available again. The only drawback right now is that no new WUs will be delivered.
For those who have a finished WU and want to be sure everything is OK BEFORE they upload: Just check whether the RNA World mainage is reachable. If that is the case, then everything should be back in place.

Sorry for the inconveniences which we haven't caused.
